Please read the brief summary from David Suzuki linked above, but the even shorter version is: Through underhanded trickery and without debate, Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, and his appointed  -- NOT ELECTED -- Conservative Senate majority have subverted (the illusion of) our 'democracy' to kill Canada's only climate Bill in overt servitude to rapacious tar sands and other polluting industry-invested fossil fuel companies and banks.

Why care?

At present, the world's atmosphere is on an accelerating course to reach a state of potentially unsurvivable, runaway global heating and climate breakdown extremes DURING THE LIVES OF TODAY'S CHILDREN.  And only EMERGENCY international action at EMERGENCY (world-war time) speed *may be* proportional enough to confront the scale, scope and urgency of this unprecedented threat.

Don't let him get away with it!

The increasing, rich nation-induced impacts of climate breakdown are NOW the greatest threat to global human rights and livelihood, and the greatest crime against humanity and most life, EVER.

Whether through deception, obstruction, obfuscation, outright inaction, or the 'undemocratic' manipulation of political processes, those who feed such epic injustices are not yet considered to be unlawful.

But if we are to defend, preserve and restore the fragile natural systems that sustain us before it's too late, decisive action must be taken to hold the perpetrators of these high crimes against 'democracy', and against efforts to ensure a healthy, sustainable future for all life, accountable.
