Like a phoenix out of ashes... (Alright, maybe that's a *little* over dramatic.)

After a forced, 8-day 'hiatus' caused by a computer breakdown and repairs that were complicated by (among other things) the need to get back to work as soon, and for as little expense, as possible...

ecoSanity has received a powerful upgrade, but is in urgent need of additional financial relief from a prolonged period of 'treading water' to maintain.

Can you afford to donate a bit of a breather?

A core supporter who went BEYOND THE CALL to guide us through the restoration (frustration) process paid the service costs AND enabled eco-S to increase its capacity to load, edit and store pics and video -- a significant enhancement of our ability to provide these services.

However, the awkward timing, length and nature of this disruption (post holidays, and in the lead up to the turn of February) rendered us unable to create content, send out alerts or invite needed contributions at a crucial juncture.

As the end of this short month fast approaches, the pressure is on to catch up on a couple of payments and cover those just ahead.

Would you be able to lend a hand?

ecoSanity is bare bones and its content, advocacy and independence is made possible by a small number of extraordinary people.  But to sustain, let alone achieve all that we aspire to, NEW supporters are essential in order to strengthen our collective voice and ease burdens.

Why bother?

• RIGHT NOW, our shared atmosphere is on an accelerating course to reach a state of potentially unsurvivable, runaway climate extremes during the lives of today's children
  (+4C by 2060s or sooner catastrophic / incompatible with organized civilization);

• Only EMERGENCY international action at EMERGENCY speed *may be* proportional enough
  to confront the scale, scope and urgency of what is already the greatest crime against humanity, most life and most future life EVER (Compilation: Betrayal of Life);

• Meanwhile, obscene fossil fuel profits and perverse government subsidies are at or near record highs, and bought 'leaders' like Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and projects like Enbridge's Northern Gateway pipeline (CRIMELINE) threaten to lock in our suicidal addiction to the world's dirtiest, deadliest, most destructive sources of greenhouse gas intensive energy CRACK.
