Glenn, thank you so much for filming, editing and posting this. I've been craving a statesman's (statesperson's?) voice, and though George Monbiot isn't Canadian, he certainly understands our situation and speaks for the small p people, who simply are not represented by our government.
The gloves must come off if we're going to protect this beautiful, fragile, spinning blue marble that belongs to our children. Indeed, I would like to suggest that we take back the future for the young people. The old farts who are destroying it no longer own it. They've had their future and they screwed it up -- especially for people in other parts of the world: Africa, the Arctic, the small island states in the Pacific.
Here is my new rallying cry, on behalf of all the children, of all species: Take back the future!!!
